Upgrade 1.5 to 3.03 OE-C (Custom Firmware) Tutorial

Why upgrade to 3.03 OE-C

Custom firmware with heaps of features and runs homebrew!

What we need

Here are the things we need to have before we start the downgrade process:

1. PSP with firmware 1.5 (check our downgrade tutorials on how to downgrade your PSP to a 1.5)
2. 3.03 OE-C Easy Installer

To Upgrade to 3.03 OE-C

1. Plug your PSP into the AC power source

2. Connect your PSP to your computer via a USB connection

3. Extract the files in the 3.03 OE-C Easy Installer pack. To be safe, let's create a folder called 'UPGRADE' on the desktop and extract the files into that folder

4. Double-click the file '1.50 - 3.03 OE-C'

5. Let the program know which drive letter is your PSP and it will copy the files over to your memory stick

6. When it's done go to under from the home menu and scroll down to 3.03 OE-C Firmware Install and select it.

7. The firmware will then install

8. When the process is done, you can format your memory stick to remove the installation files

9. Finished!!
